Robert Priest ("The Poet of The People") releases a spoken word album, and celebrates it's launch with a special concert at Hugh's Room Live. He will perform songs from the new recording and also sing songs with his trio, including guitarists Bob Cohen and David Hines. Robert will have several surprise guest musicians and will have books available at the show. The album will be available online.
Opening the festivities: a set from none other than Taylor Abrahamse, the gifted young singer/songwriter who has long championed Hugh's Room. His poignant and playful lyrics are sure to impress fans of Robert Priest. The event is hosted by JAZZ.FM91's Jaymz Bee, who is also the producer of the new album from Robert Priest.
